Trailer Price?

Hey guys,
Need your opinion on the what this trailer should sell for. I wholesale cars as well as the P.Wing business.
I've got a guy that want's to give me this trailer and cash for payment on a truck I have for sale....
If it was an enclosed trailer I would take the trade and keep the trailer. But I don't have the need for this particular trailer.. .

Trailer is 6'5"x 16'...... I usually only take cash but the trades I have made I have always had the good end of the deal! People do desperate things to get into a car they want.
Just need a price range on this trailer? So If I do take it I know what it would be worth for me to turn around and sell it!
Tell me what you think!
Thanks

Dang it... I have not seen the trailer in person, And the pic he sent me buy e-mail is not uploading for some reason...I will post if someone can tell me how?

Tandem axle, wood floor, steel railing, he claims tires have maybe 500 mles on them.

Down here used, between $600 and $1000. Not much for a used trailer but it is used.

Does it have brakes? That might be worth a little bit more.

Does it have a bulldog hitch? That is preferred to the top latch other kind.

Are they car tires or trailer tires?

A lot to consider if you were going to buy it.

What are you going to use it for or just sell it?

I just passed on an 18ft, pipe top tandem, brakes on one axle, and bulldog 2 5/16 hitch for 900 so that price is a tad bit high for my area, but I would guess you can start around 800 for it and if you have to back off a bit then thats alright

You can add the brakes for about $100 to $130.00 per axle, it is not that hard to do.

Take a tire off the trailer with you to the trailer place if you don't want to take the trailer with you and get the brake hubs, seals, bearings and wiring to go from both wheels to the front of the trailer to the connector, you will probably have to change out the connector to the 7-pin connector.

Grease the bearings before you put everything together, bolt everything together, run the wires to the front and that is about it (condensed instructions, hahahahaha).

Good luck if you decide to do it.

Id say since u have the upperhand go with $500.00 and sell for 800.00

Thats exactly what I ended up doing... Told him I will take $500 off the truck with the trailer... Would rather have straight cash, but will do what it takes to sell the truck!
Thanks, for the input guy's....
