How far PWI has fell from grace. They used to be #2 or 3.
 
www.alexa.com You can check any website to see where they rank. Its based on how much traffic they get which is key for a successful website. Yahoo's site is #1 with MSN I believe is #2 for the most traffic. Its pretty cool. Check it out
 
What does the numbers behind the titles represent?
 
The numbers next to the titles such as this one here PWI @ www.pressurewashinginstitute.com means that out of all the websites ranked this one comes in 3,175,434 place. Yahoo comes in FIRST place out of all the websites. PWNA's bb comes in 96,190th place etc.etc.etc.

Don't get confused by which bb gets the most posts because a couple of guys like myself post alot which doesn't mean that I can move the bb up in rankings. Its done by how many people click on to that site which means like a Popularity contest. The more popular you are the more people that know you the more connections you can make etc.etc.etc.
 
you also need to remember your talking about the website not the BBS. pwna.org gets more looks....

i myself have no idea where PWI stands anymore. its has slowed down and pwna BBS has picked up. thats pretty obvious as you can see the posts and new membership has grown much over the last year or so.

i think alexa ratings are acurate i have used them in the past. keep in mind that its about the web site and not nescessarily about the BBS.

In my book - this board is by far the best. I like the others, but prefer this board. Its just seems that this board is for the individual contractors, not sale.. sale.. sale..

I'm glad to see the PWNA board doing well.
 
I like the IDEA of this bb and the PWNA bb the best.

As for the bb's themselves I like all of the ones I go to for different reasons such as www.thegrimescene.com and the www.cleanernetwork.com because those 2 usually have the most post on a consistent basis.
 
I must say that Beth's board is not a sell sell sell board either. Yes, Beth mentions the products she sells, but they aren't pushed as they are on other boards, and you don't get kicked off the board for mentioning other products/vendors. I think that is one reason why it has grown as it has. I would have to say that this board and hers are my favorites, and where I see much less of the personality conflicts and fighting that I see elsewhere. I don't go to the PWNA board as much, mainly due to time, and I've not seen the conflicts there either. The activity there has definitely picked up over the past year.

As many do, when I have a question I try to post on these three boards, since there are some who only go to one or another. Someone on PWNA may have the answer I need, but if I only post here or at Beth's board, they may not see it.

As Of 4-27-12 Pressurewashinginstitute.com is not showing up in the rankings but if you put in Propowerwash.com which is Rons website they rank very high. The other thing here is since the UAMCC keeps a computer presence they out rank the PWNA by far.. Interesting stuff if your into this.

Of course we still talk Ron. Will be in rocking chairs one day still talking. What I meant there is we use to talk late at night or IM each other late at night..kind of answering Grants question from way Back then when he ask Ron what are you doing up @4am Probably chatting with each other:)

Yes your heinous.. You did run.... Away from it.. Oh you ran it...J/K Since you guys ran it I still say my opinion to keep it open was the correct one but it was rejected back in those days by my fellow Board members..
 
It was Closed because it empowered the wrong people in the eyes of the people running it. Why does PWI stand Stronger than any other? Because this is run by the real Leaders in the industry for the industry. Look at the contractors here, SUCCESS...

While past PWNA guys who didn't change with the times and called internet people Bottom Feeders....Now look $$$$$$ forcing the Hand to change.

I have 2014 May Johnny, thats it. YOu will not see me after that Date washing anything.

I'm traveling around the world. I may never come back. My kids can catch up with me...
