What is Woot and who's behind it?

is an online store and community that focuses on selling cool stuff cheap. It started as an employee-store slash market-testing type of place for an electronics distributor, but it's taken on a life of its own. We anticipate profitability by 2043 – by then we should be retired; someone smarter might take over and jack up the prices. Until then, we're still the lovable scamps we've always been. But don't take our word for it: see what the online community has to say at this Wikipedia article.

I see only one item, do you sell anything else?

No. We sell one item per day until it is sold out or until 11:59pm central time when it is replaced (see next entry for details). However, each item we sell is in stock and typically ships within 2-3 business days.

Well, it comes with a 90 day warranty by HP, or you can get a 1 year warranty for $80 more.

But honestly, if a computer like this still works after 90 days, it ain't gonna break anytime soon either unless you mis-use it.

Anything you can use on your normal PC. What this basically is is a computer ... just in a tablet form. I nice one at that. 2 GHz processor and 250GB of HardDrive Space, and 3GB of RAM.

Those sure look cool. I would like to get one, just can't get one right now.

What kind of inverter or power device should you get for using that or a laptop in your car?

I heard that the electricity from the cigarette outlet is not "clean" enough and could damage your system. Any ideas?

Ms Awesome
My doctor's office uses them and the nurse said they are just like a normal PC. You can put any software on them you want. The difference is just what Scott said. The touch screen. The nurse said is like using an oversized iPhone. I would love to have one but not with kids around. lol
