Don't mean to bruise poor Matt's ego, but I've never been down to his "precinct station". Are there bars and Mace and all the usual "toys" he probably likes to play with (and take pictures of)?

Seriously, am polishing the "Change" letter, will be ready fairly soon.

Our fire ( book read ) inspectors in MS are killing me they go into a restaurant about a month and a half after I have cleaned it and tell the customer that I am not doing a good job because the fan and duct is dirty.. The customer calls me wanting a free repeat hood cleaning because they are now under the impression that when I clean the hood it is supposed to stay clean for 3 months or until I come back out to clean it... Maybe this would be a good course for the Mississippi fire dept. Also let me state that now because all of the older guys have retired , it is funny that I was doing fire equipment when most of these new inspectors were in diaper's.. Funny isnt it...
We also have the favortism game being played in Mississippi , Most fire dept officials have there own favorite fire equipment and hood cleaning guy and they suggest them openly.. I guess i am the bad guy out there .. So I am Honest, maybe I should learn to lie and cheat ... ?? I might just have to move to California and open up shop at least when I am not workin I would be close to the beach....

The way to deal with that is to take pictures each time before and after. Give copies to the customers be sure that time and date show on the photos. It will take a little extra time but you'll thank me later on. Keep files on these people get OK signatures.
