Tile and Grout cleaning

Looking for info on proprietary equipment for cleaning tile and grout, interior hard surface cleaning. Something with vac system etc.

I would like to add this service to my lineup and looking for info from someone that may be offering that service currently or has done more extensive research into this. . I know I have equipment already that could be retrofitted perhaps to do this work but thought there may be some insight on specialized self contained, portable proprietary equipment for this. Not really interested in cleaning carpet but have had opportunities to clean hard surfaces both from new leads as well as current customers I do other services for.

Is the need really to get the grout back to really clean as well as cleaning the tile face surfaces? I have experimented on a few areas and am finding that grout doesn't come clean that easy unless you want to get down on all fours and scrub with chems. Does the market demand that the grout lines become clean back to "like new" or is it more like getting the dirt and grime up and removing stains and soils from the main tile field itself?

I stumbled across a company called "The Masters Touch" and am continuing to get more info. Do any of you use this system or similar system?

Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to generate some "off season" revenue indoors during the colder months as well as increasing sales with a new service line during the "working months"

thanks Kevin I will look at that and give them a call.. Its always nice to run in to a "local" buddy in the biz. We should talk sometime as its always good to network especially with someone relatively close by.

We will have Jerry McMillen from Sirocco coming to the event. He specializes in this type of equipment with the recovery vac and surface cleaner. It would give you a great opportunity to see it in action "live".

Good call Kev !!
Paul and I will be packing a TON of info on..
pumps, heaters, & vacuum-reclaim info,
"better-off knowing" info,
you "should know" info,
need to know, and..
simply MUST know info, into a two-day program..
We will hammer-down the hard-core tech-talk
like NO bootcamp has done before..
Paul will do the PW side,
I've got the WWC/Reclaim side..
It might be cold for us sunny-staters in February,
but .. you will learn. That's a promise !
And..
it's a "brewery-city", in cattle-country..
I'm thinking.. beer & steak. Eh?

I was concerned that the date you would schedule would conflict with a trip my wife and I are taking to Vegas the last week of Feb and sure enough as luck would have it we will be out there Feb 22-the 27th. Im bummed as i really wanted to get there for the RT.

I'm sure with the flow of equipment through his place afterward,
you can go see Russ and get the personalized version
after you get back from Vegas.
Just remember to leave "the big" credit card at home. :)

there's nothing better than a "compelling demo". Eh?

Yes Jerry Beer & Steak sounds about right to me. Better yet if we take a tour of the Miller brewery at the end of the tour theres Free Beer !!! ( of course a limited amount lol)

So ... the plan gets wider, deeper,
..and bubbly at the top !

Should we stay through the weekend ?
If it's snowing, can we take snow-mobiles to the brewery ??

Jerry, are you bringing your vacuum system to demo?

Do you have a trailer demo rig to take to the round tables?

Aaaaah.. right in the heart !
Yes, I have the jaw-dropping trailer in my showroom, right now.
I just cannot commit to dragging it across country.
.. the travel-time would be unwise.
What's "supposed" to happen..
is each dealer buy one, demo it feverishly, sell it, or alternate versions,
..and repeat cycle. Eh?

there WILL be a vacuum demonstration at Paul's place,
and it WILL be compelling.

Hey Paul.....FANTASTIC!!!! I have a buddy in the biz locally and am hoping I can get him to attend as well!! I really wanted to attend and I will definitely be there! I'll be awaiting the new date.
