Not sure how that relates to $99 specials or upselling other services. This looks more like a dishonest business that is lying to customers, telling them they have problems they really don't have and making money on services that are really not needed.

Pressure washing customers can clearly see if they have a dirty driveway or roof? It would be a disservice not to ask them if theywould like an estimate on that too.
 
Mike look at what you wrote. You made my point in 2 sentences. But what will Customers think when they see "To Good To Be True Prices"?

I don't care if Contractors use this tactic, I'm just saying if you do, you might want to watch this segment tonight.

And I never said anything against up-selling. I do it all the time, I just don't use a "Hook" to do it.
 
I hear ya and get what you are saying.....but if I advertise a $99 per 1000 sq.ft. I dont really see it as a hook, just a good price to keep the phones ringing and the 4 rigs running!

I just don't see how it relates to the discussions here....I may have missed something but I dont recall ever reading complaints of scare tactics....just cheap f'ing prices.

That kind of looks like the carpet cleaner scams. Many have been documented and recorded on video of the guys trying to scam them into more money using false advertising and cheap prices just to get there.

Mike I posted this as a "Heads-Up". You really don't see how "Potential Customers" that see this segment could equate this, to ANY Service that targets homeowners advertising Low Prices??? Really???

Everyone knows how successful you are Mike, I'm glad for you, you deserve it. This post is NOT directed toward or about you!!!

I don't see $99 per 1000 sq ft. as a "Hook" either....It's $99 per 1000 sq ft. not $99 per Home, big difference.

Look, I didn't post this to start any crap, it's a heads-up thats all. Might want to back away from the coffee pot Mike.
