This was a wierd one.
1 long hood, 2 ducts -1 upblast blowing out the side into a littel corner between 2 buildings. another duct straight up to a squirrel cage fan with a grease contaiment system already installed.

No way to get to the upblast fan unless you are 90 lbs and can fit through a crack by a water heater.

Too many problems to mention here.....I'll let the photos speak.
BTW it ws cleaned 1 week before these photos were taken.

Wow, Chris, resturants must do really good business in your area. To think, that much grease accumulation in 7 days. In one photo, you can still see a bit of bare metal on the fan.

Chris,

When your crew goes in there to clean those vents could you have your guys look for my cell phone. I think I lost it somewhere near that tub of grease. I couldn't stand the smell so I just left without it.

Wasn't that the (RAIN SPOUT 4000) in that picture? Not sure what happened to that company, I have seen some of their work here as well. I think they left part of the system out though, the part that actually deals with the grease. I guess that will work, run it over to you neighbor and let him deal with it.
 
If I were Matt I would protest and bring litigation against the person or persons that have implemented a patent pending device for their own personal gain. Look closely at the design and notice that it is more compact but virtually has the same characteristics of the AS 125.

I bet it was imported from Japan, you know how they take good ideas and make them better and more compact.

I'm no lawyer but I think you would have a case Matt. :D

They also offer hood and duct cleaning service too.

I see you guys had a hard time getting out of that alley. Looks like Matt was having a rough time. Chris seems to be handling the situation fairly well though.

Funny thing..when I brought that cup home from Vegas the first thing my wife said about that cup is "that looks like a bong!".
I gave it to my 2 year old son as a toy.
About a week later my brother and sister-in-law were over, took one look out the back patio doors and saw my son carrying that cup around and they said, "Hey that looks like a bong!"
Another friend came over later (an old kindergarden teacher of one of my older sons) and even she said, "Hey you could make a bong out of that!"

Either I am naive or everybody's mind is in the gutter!

Chris I wasn't sure what you were doing when you made that three finger gesture in the photo displaying your sandals. I looked it up in the abridged version of "The 60's Hand Gestures" and it means: Peace and Piece on the Side" . I am shocked at your attempt to make us think you lead a normal respectable life style. Picture's don't lie. LOL
