My wife is a teacher and she almost refuses to believe that these are really people off the street. Grandpa was a great example of the difference in education in younger generations.

Oh believe me it gets alot worse than that ! They did a test and more people knew who lived in a pineapple under the sea than knew who lived at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. 99% of people i went to school with would tell you that the Civil War was fought to free the slaves. People just dont want to be bothered with actually learning things. They want to take a day off work and have a blast celebrating something they know nothing about. It is sad and disturbing.
