Things are picking up here this week alone I have picked up 2 jobs and I just had another call and they all found me ON THE WEB, never did I think a website would bring in people when I started, but I'm a believer now.

I just got home from a Job sweeping at Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City doing the main highway for a contractor and cal trans. I picked up all the fines their Big Broom Sweepers left behind so they could Re-strip the road up there, I get payed for 2 hours driving time too so that makes for easy work :D This will be a Great Year. And no matter what, GET A WEBSITE.
 
Good deal ! Hope to get my website up and running pretty soon.

I got another call after I posted today for bids on two Credit Unions to wash them and was found on WEB too, so in the morning I have to get them bids. I just used some free website to advertise and get it on the Goggle list, Free is good.
 
That is great Terry!

My Biggest and Best Jobs have been from customers finding me on the internet, really glad I had the website done in the beginning and then re-done back in 2007 for a lot more professional look.

I am having it re-done for the ability to host more pictures and videos and other things as I come up with more ideas, it should be about ready.

It will not be exactly the same but that is ok, I know it will look good but the functionality will be many times better in every way and I will be able to add things when I want or need to without needing to have my web people to do it for me, that will be great.

For those that do not have a website and are serious about being in business, get a website because more and more people are doing the online search, not using the phone book as much anymore.
 
I think the Key is having a website for any business now days no matter what kind it is, people are just using the web looking everything right now.

This last gal that call yesterday afternoon was in Salt Lake City that makes 5 of them from out of state in the last 2 months and I have picked all the jobs from these people but the 1 that called yesterday and I still have to give her a Quote, they just want to make it easy and if your not there they won't find you. It is amazing how many Pm's or Corporate People are from out of state looking for service right now.
 
Before my site was up I never got any "Big" jobs. I think larger companies get so much junk mail that post cards, fliers either go straight to the trash, dont make it to the right person or just go unnoticed. When it comes time they need something done they go searching on the web and if you arent there your not gonna get the call.
