That Sucks Ron!
I know you have had the guy logo like forever and that is bullsh** they copied you.
Can you do something legal? Is it in the works already?
I had some clown in Hawaii copy my website and I had the web guys handle it with a nasty letter threatening to shut down their host and their site.
After another serious letter, they took it down.
That is just crap that people are too lazy to get something of their own or pay to have something designed.
What are you going to do? Or you handling it with other means?

Wow - thats a little too close for comfort. We had someone copy our website word for word as well. I called them on the phone and asked them why they thought it was okay. Then I had another company copy my craigslist ad word for word, i called them too.

They didn't just copy the logo, they copied the Logo AND Complete name!!!!!!!!!

Is it a federally registered trademark under something other than your name?
Its been trademarked, but you cant steal someone else stuff. (reguardless)
The art work was created my and artist at Marvel and was registared then through marvel.
its my brother -in -law and he registared all art work as part of his price.
It will get fixed, this is like the tenth time someone has done this.

My state doesnt care locally if they are registared, just proof you created it.
I know this because i have another business that i registared the name leagally and had to change it months later when the guy who had not registared the name came forward and said hold on.

Harley Davidson has full time guys that drive around to non franchise motorcycle shops. If you have an H-D logo in the front window or any type or sign that implies you are affiliated with H-D he won't say a thing, but you will get a "cease and desist" letter real soon with a photo of your shop. That's when you see the "We sell and service American Made motorcycles" sign go up. If you ignore it you will get a summons into the district federal court. A certified letter would probably drop this guy in his tracks.
I will allow him to give me the info on who gave him the logo. if he doesnt then he will get a letter. if he continues to use my logo then will take the proper legal course.
I have never had to do that yet. I will if i have too.

Wasn't there just a recent thread about your spelling "Thief"'' Hahahah Just busting on you...... I can't spell either.....But that area code of 912 is based out of Savannah, Ga about 15 minutes from me.... I will keep an eye out for him and take care of it for you..... Gotta look out for one another out here, its a tuff market with all of these fly by night and low ballers!!!!!!!! Cant stand these crack heads with pressure washers out here ruining it for all of us....

I don't blame you for being hardcore about it. You just like H-D has spent a lot of time and money building a brand. You have to protect it. I'd just give him the opportunity to stop it. If he doesn't then sick the dogs on him.

Yall remember the incident where the guy took a photo of my hood cleaning and photoshoped his company name on it... ?? He said the website designer just pulled a photo off of the internet and used it to make the site .. this is probably what happened ... And I guess they already had the name ...

I'm just amazed that he didn't even try and tweak it enough to seem different. I'm suprised he didn't accidentally put down your phone number as well. Your guy is much more detailed though, you can definitely see the difference in talent in art work.

Ron have the Grease Police show up and play music in front of his house-that will make him change - just giving you a hard time-look at the brite side-he likes your logo.
