Thermostat

Can anyone tell me what happens when the wire that runs from the heater outlet to the thermostat breaks?

Will the burner take off like a rocket?

I pulled the trailer out of the barn this evening to use on a job at 5 in the morning and this wire is broken...

I think It wont turn off but it could maybe not turn on. none the less ya got no heat until you fix it. is this the all metal wire or is it a coated wire. if it were a coated one you should be able to strip it and solder then cover. If it is the metal only probe wire you may get away with soldering it but it might not work. Hope it doesnt cost u much.
