The Liberty Amendments

Just yesterday I told Shelly I was thinking about writing a book on the constitution and how to go about returning to the freedoms our forefathers intended.

Then today I just caught wind of this book and bought it. His approach is more likely to work than what I was thinking. It is based on the idea of passing amendments that would eventually return our republic to the free country it was intended to be.

I just finished reading "As If An Enemy's Country" which outlines what led up to the American Revolution in much more detail than I have ever been able to decipher just reading old documents and letters from that time. It is a great book that every American should read.

Now I'm starting "The Liberty Amendments" to look into the thoughts of Mark Levin regarding how we could restore our country.

Here is an exerpt:

You should do YouTube videos of this so us with little time or the illiterate can get our edumication on.

Well, finished it tonight. It was a moderately difficult read compared to most modern political books. Started off with a lot of promise, but fizzled midway.

The concept sounds good, fixing the current situation via amendments passed by the states. But the proposed amendments stop short of what needs to be done to repair this broken nation.

I am beginning to believe there is no fix.
