The badest surface cleaner in the US

Landa Dealer ?

The Landa is great, unless your @#%& employee keeps running over stuff...and the repair is over $600! With other "issues" mine had, it would have cost over $800 to repair. So I bought a 24" Steel Eagle for $500. (The Steel Eagle doesn't adjust, but I found that used that feature less and less anyway, so I don't miss it.)

John, you had repair shops robbing you on the repair. I have found the opposite to be true.

They are a parts whore for sure. The parts are not expensive at all. I found that when I bent my eagle they wanted to charge me as much to buy a new one.

The rotary union in the landa water jet is what makes them clean faster and more efficient than others.

I virtually never throw one away and had the original one I bought for years until one of my guys ran it over with the dually.

The body only cost about 27 bucks and the handles about thirty for both pieces. Price the parts for the eagle I guarantee they are higher other than the rotary union.

They are triple in price but you will never need another unless they get stolen or ran over.

So a Landa surface cleaner is like a GM 350....(easy to obtain parts for). I could make a cleaning reference but I will bite my tongue now that I've sworn to "let them do what they choose" mantra. My philosophies differ on many fronts but I have learned to respect how others choose to do business.

I'm considering the Landa, but I wish to have a jumpstart for environmental recovery, do they have a vacuum unit or should I stick with a Vacuboom setup?

EDIT AFTER POST: Oooh my first post! I don't strive to be a HIGH POSTER WANNABE, but it is a unique 'description' of a way to post.

Surface looks a little wet Ron, what do you prespray with? If the secret to the Water Jet is the union, then why wouldn't any surfacer with the Deublin perform the same? ie Steel eagle

your from cali, have you ever been to a movie studio? everythings wet.

they dont use that model and thats just the main difference. there are many, have you used one for any amount of time. I have used them all, you have seen pictures in the past of the grave yard. Please do not start on reclaiming, I use the water jet in places reclaiming is not a nescessary.

Alan, Please put your signature in or stop posting on PWI. Thanks

Ron,

Was that ground pre-treated with chem or was it just wet? Also...was he using cold water? It didnt seem long enough to heat the water. Or was it already hot and just waiting to go?
