Anyone doing these through Tech Wash? Seems pretty easy and filler work for the guys. Just wondering if there was anyone I could talk to that has actually done some of these for Tech Wash.

We've already done 20 or so this month.

Better have atleast 400+ torque to pull them out.

ive done about 70 of those in the last mont al up and down the eastcoast easy work not a problem pulling them out or putting them back i ill be doing more for tws real soon when they start cleaning these on a yearly base my son an me were doing about 6 aday and doing alot of flat work at night for them great company to work for

I know there are 22 locations within a 2 hr drive of me,but I still haven't been able to justify the risk of damaging a $40k truck for $7k in work.I'm sure TWS is great to work for,but knowing Target was paying a higher rate before TWS got involved makes me wonder what kind of money they are keeping for themselves and how many contractor could have negotitated a higher payout.
I'm a vendor with Target and do weekly work for them from May to Nov.They are a great company to work for as well.

I get work from the hauling company. It not Target, but another large retailer. I coordinate with the driver as he comes back with the empty compactor. He waits and puts it back when I'm done. They only take about twenty minutes (on the inside). They pay me well and if the driver is late, I bill wait time. I wouldn't risk my truck moving those things.

I was told by 2 people that target was paying about $500 before the techwash involved. Makes you wonder.

Listen to what Ron mentioned, makes you think that techwash would use some common sense and have you do things a little bit more safe. O Well.

Pulling them out would seem to be the easy part. How are you getting them back in place ?

Shorten your chain so it's a few feet from your truck and lightly hit it with the ball on your reciever. The chain will catch it if it starts rolling to fast.

Half of the compactors we are doing we didn't have to move. The ram unit is inside the store and were not attached to the compactor.

Wow!

Ok, if the contractor is getting paid $175.00 for doing the work of cleaning the unit then the other $325.00 to $475.00 is going where? I hope that the TWS is not keeping that since the contractor is risking his truck, engine, transmission and personal safety/health moving these things.

Maybe they are keeping it for doing the paperwork????

Wow!

Jason, can you show my old lady how you do that thing with your neck?
