Striping at Disney World

I noticed this while walking around Magic Kingdom. I did see others but had dead batteries in the camera. The main question I have is Why are they using such small surface cleaners? The entire park was wet once we arrived at 6:45 so I guess they did a washdown that night

Someone posted a pic here once of an in house disney PWing operation. It was a small hotwater unit towed by a golf cart. Your probably seeing the results of that rig and a careless operator!

To clean that park they would have to have 100 of that same setup. It seems as if they wash down each park nightly or thats my impression after reading something in the New Orleans newspapers about their mayor trying to get rid of twice a day cleanup at the french quarter and disney was mentioned in that article as well

I would like to get the contract on that twice a day cleanup...

Definitely.

If they are doing it twice daily, they are probably doing it in house. If it is bid, you probably would choke at the price that they are paying. It certainly is not 10 cents a foot, or even half of that.
All told, I would still bid it.

I have a friend who paints at Disney. They are not cheap and must follow National standards. You might be surprised how much they will pay for guarenteed service? I would believe they are in service on PWing though. Same as their Police & Fire dept.
