Stingray hit

So, for you guys who were there, you know Shelly got hit by a stingray Friday a week ago near Whiskey Joes.

No one around told her to soak in super hot water to releive the pain, so she had to self medicate with vodka shots and the pain didn't even subside then for four hours.

A week later and it's not infected, but it's itching like crazy. This picture is what it looks like now.

Seriously, the spines are made to break off in you so she is very, very lucky.

We're hoping that's not the case.

We don't have insurance but have a dr we trade services with back home.

It doesn't feel like any part of the spine is still in there. It is hard in the area, but apparently That's normal.

We'll just have to keep an eye on it for the next 4 days or so

If a piece was in there I think you would know for sure by now. I've never been hit but I know guys who have and it's horrible.
