The housing crisis is one of the very reasons we are in this mess, instead of throwing families to the curb, put the money into fixing this mess.

The average joe, and i dont mean joe the plumber, he got a book deal and he's not even a plumber?

We have bread lines in America again!!! and they are worried about putting some of this money into remodelling an old theater, you cant beleive the amount of useless projects on their stimulus list that wont make a dent in putting regular people to work?

The equity in our homes dont exist anymore, the 401K is empty or close to worthless.The banks are now lending out money as they should have years ago, you dont get any money unless you can afford to pay it back!!

I honestly think it is to little to late, we are going to hit rock bottom in this country soon, and we have a bunch of fools who never worked a real job in their life in control of OUR MONEY!!:mad:

I know that we should stay positive, but it gets harder everyday that i go out my door and people who i never spoke to in my nehiboorhood are comming up to me and spilling their hearts out about someone close to them that has lost everything?

This is scary stuff, people are buying guns and ammo at such alarming rates, that they cant keep up with the demand. That only tells me that i am not alone in my thinking that something bad is comming our way soon.

I truley hope but hardly beleive that putting the country into over a trillion dollars more in debt, to be paid buy our grandchildren's children is the answer to this crisis. Greed & Stupidity has put us here it's time to remove them from office and start fresh.

If we were to do 2 simple things, we could recover from this mess real quick.

1) Bring all our troops home from every country we are babysitting. have them surround the United States with all guns facing out. Let the military deal with our border's.

2) Bring back all the jobs that we outsourced overseas, and give them a huge tax incentive to do buisness here in America, and anyone not doing buisness in this country will have to pay a very large import tax on all non American goods.

Amen to bad none of the greedy politicians will ever realize this, all they are worried about is there own pockets
 
You want things to turn around FAST, Then give the people of this Country $20,000 each instead of giving it to the groups that supported the DEMS and take it out of the hands of Politician's. You will see stimulus like you have never seen before, but that will never happen there is no POWER in doing that.

This Bill is a BAD BILL and the we are all going to suffer for YEARS to come and the best part they are not going to Create any new jobs unless they are Government Jobs Period and I have yet to see a Government Job Produce anything BUT WASTE.

That wont work, there are 300 million people in this country, do the math? if i am right just $10,000 per person would be 3trillion dollars?

I agree that handing out money to the public would get people spending again, however the stimulation to the economy would be short lived because most of that money would end up back in the countries producing the goods people purchased. If you really want to stimulate the economy, put an end to the "free-trade" BS, and bring jobs back to America. We also need to keep illegal-aliens out of our workforce.
 
Want to bail out the car industry?
Give a 15,000 tax credit to people who buy a Ford GM or Chrysler car this year. they make a car , we bought a car,some one sold a car ,
local govt gets to tax the car and DMV gets money to register the car.

Want to help the average US homeowner?

Give them a $5,000 dollar voucher to apply to existing credit dept. This will pay off unsecured debt nationwide, People with no credit can establish credit. people with bad credit can repair it. People with good credit can use it to buy durable goods in the United States.
