Sticky ball valves and couplers can be helped with a periodic application of white lithium grease easily applied from an aerosol can.

For really stubborn cases precede the white lithium grease with WD-40.

We figure we double the life of our HP valves with periodic lubrication.

For you night owls working with flashlights try a teflon based grease on the seals and O-rings, especially when working with caustic.

Thanks for the idea. Actually I have tried both ideas (WD40, lithium grease) independently - not both in series. Will try.
