I am looking into getting a 24" steel eagle reclaim surface cleaner. Does anyoone have one that you are interested in selling/ Let me know

I have a vacuboom, not sure about the cfm, will have to look.

I was talking to Pete and Tracy yesterday and I believe they said you need about 300 cfm to effectivly run a 24 in, the one I picked up is only 210.

Maybe you should pm Scott Stone and tell him what you have and see what he says, I know he would know.

There are other brands out there as well. I have a 21" vacuum surface cleaner I bought from Sun Brite. Not as expensive and it works well. Last time I was in the Lawrenceville store they had one in there. If your down this way you're welcome to hook mine up to your vac to see how well it works.

This is some info on the vacuboomhttp://www.vacuboom.com/

I will set up a time to get with you to take advantage of that, Thanks.

I would really like to find some sort of vac that I could screw on top of a 275 gallon tote so when the water is sucked up it falls diretly into the tank.

Any Ideas?

The car-wash vacuum cleaner heads do about 100 cfm each and they're small, you could put 3 on the tote. Maybe you could get just the vacuum-head from sunbrite? I dont know how much vacuum the tote could handle but it sounds interesting, are you going to take the water with you?

What about the Silver Easgle spinners. They also offer a vacuum line of spinners. Anyone had any experience with Silver Eagle ?

Mike at Silver Eagle making vacuum surface cleaners now?

Never ordered equipment form them but, he is very knowledgeable, and he has a industrial vacuum system with a generator coupled for pump out. A 40 hp gas motor and a roots 780cfm vac and 10,000 watt generator as one unit. Diesel is optional.

I think the tote would collapse under the vacuum. You will need a steel container and pump out to a tank. Nikro makes a vac head you can buy.

The Nikro dual-head vac unit I have will almost collapse a 55 gallon drum so I am sure it will collapse a tote.

You can buy the Nikro and rig a pump-out system for under a grand.

I did not know silver eagle was making vacuum surface cleaners.

If you want an electric vacuum, the Nikro is the way to go. They are probably one of the few wet vacs that has a 100% duty cycle. The Home depot variety only will run about an hour before they are fried. I burned up three one day.

As for the surface cleaner. It sounds as if the Silver Eagle nd the Steel Eagle are priced about the same. Sunbrite sells one, that is manufactured by the guys that make the Sirocco system. It is based off a Mosmatic surface cleaner. I am not sure how much it costs.
