Squeezing my trigger

You pull the handle on the wand and at first you get a mist. 20 seconds later you get a flood. Release the handle and squeeze again you get mist 20 seconds later you get flood. Is it in the wand or the pressure unit. Pressure unit was not mine.

No ideas?

Sounds like simething stuck in the gun or tip. But, If it does the same thing with a different gun then you should look at the unloader or pump valves for something stuck in them. The trash can float around in the unloader or valves and lodge its self at will. Sometimes it is a peice of sand. If that still does not work look for something blocking the inlet of the pump like a dirty filter in the float tank if you have one or an inlet filter where your garden hose attaches to the machine.

Thanks. New it couldn't be the wand. No reason just squeezing the handle could cause it mist then 20 seconds later flood. It was hooked to another fellas trailer mount and as you held it the pump would suddenly kick in and here came the solution.

Slow pressure buildup

I have seen many K7 unloaders do this. A quick cure is to remove the bottom of the unloader. There is a piston with a rubber cup on it in there along with a spring. If you carefully and evenly stretch the spring a little, the unloader response time will lessen greatly.
