Sponsor sporting events

Or perhaps sports teams.....this should be phrased in a question, Like who does.

I'm looking into sponsoring a local wild sporting league looking to see if anyone here has done this before? :meeting:

Don't know what it is, but in all honesty, if I sponsor a sports team, I consider it a donation, and nothing more. I have done it 4 or 5 times, and never gotten a referral or lead off of it.

I have sponsored & coached one of our local little league teams over a period of about 5 years.

Personally, like Ego Master, I thought of it as more of a donation. I am sure that I got some business as a direct result of the various sponsorships, but it was a really difficult thing to track since it's in a small town and most everyone knows everyone.

I have wanted to sponsor a team in the past, just was not ready at the time.

My brother sponsored a team a few times in the past, never got any work from it and then gave it up.

I also would see it like a donation to help out, you might get some work out of it but I would not plan on that happening so you are not disappointed if nothing happened.

This coming year my son might join a sport and I might sponsor the team and give it a try.

I have been doing it for the last 5 years. Same here never got a thing out of it, but it goes to the kids soccer leauge that my grand kids play in. I buy all the shirts and my company name is on them.
