SPADE---a respectable guy!

Joe Dirte` is the man. I don't know if that story talks about it (didn't click on it) but he also donated $25K to a fallen hero about a year ago....

Much respect for that dude. He better watch his back in Hollywood though, before he knows it they will be calling him a conservative wack-job.

What they say 300 new guns. Good for him

I sure am glad he didn't donate that money here. These cops around here will shoot anybody.

They shot a guy for getting out of his car when they told him to turn his music down on the strip.

They shot an ice cream truck lady for throwing a fit about her husband being pulled over all the time for minor traffic violations.

I almost got tasered because I got pulled over and since it was windy outside I got out to bring my info to the cop and he hid behind my van and screamed at me to "get back in the F..... car" while he pointed a taser at me. I got back in the van and told him what a scumbag he was for talking to me me like that with my family in the car and paid $300 to an attorney to get it dismissed.

I sure don't want to start a fight. My Grandfather was a deputy, my uncle holds the record in TN for the longest serving sheriff (28 yrs straight, then a 1 year break then another 8 years) but these guys around here are gun happy ever since one of theirs was shot three years ago.

Thank God for Viagra and pumps otherwise these guys would really be on the rampage.

I apologize for that last post. The law enforcement here is much better than most places I've lived. But there are tell-tell signs that I've seen that just don't sit right with me.

One highway patrol going 120 with his lights off killed 5 people in the interstate last year because he was "hurrying home for a test he had the next day".

Here's another example. We hosted a wedding for my wife's best friend and her husband who is a cop in Indiana. (he's a great guy) He had two cop friends who got drunk and kept talking about how they framed people who "deserved what they got because they "used the system". I kicked them out of my house.

Another time I was at a party that had two cops (who are by the way, no longer cops) who were laughing about how many n**gers they had beat, and joking about the one who's gold teeth the knocked out with a nightstick "because he looked like a c*cksucker with those teeth".

I saw one of those two guys bet that he could roundhouse kick at 6'5" speed bag 10 times in a row. He did it, and 10 minutes later he was passed out with the sprinklers going on him. That kind of power in that small of a brain is scary.

Unfortunately who else would want a cop's job? It's a catch 22.

I'm as conservative as anybody on this board, but these guys need to pass an iq test before allowing them in 4000 lb killing machines with guns.

Cops are like every other profession there are god ones and bad ones.

I feel sorry that you have never had a good encounter with a police officer because you only had bad stories to tell.

People only tell the bad stories it seems, like the last powerwasher guy that did a bad job and their opinion is that all powerwashers must be hacks or drunks that can't hold a job,or pass a drug test and that's the story that they spread to everyone they know.I think there are a lot of good cops out there i know a lot of them, and I also know a lot of bad ones. One being the reason Im not a cop anymore. There is a saying in the business that nobody likes the cops until they need them, and we never know when we are going to need them.

With that being said I can assure you that when you are in need or your family is in danger and you call 911 for help they will come, even if your opinion of them is not a good one they come anyway because you need them.

Sorry for sounding so negative. My uncle and grandpa were two of the best guys I've ever known. Maybe that's why I'm so negative about cops today. Integrity was important years ago and doesn't seem to be so important today.

I'm sure there are plenty of good ones out there. They're just trigger happy here.
