I have been playing around with the crown Vic for the past couple of months ant it is becoming the beast is should be.
As of now I think I have it up over 310 HP and counting.
I was looking at supercharging to try and get it up to 430 hp or so and wanted some boost gauges and an rpm gauge. The rpm gauge alone was going to be over $150.
But I found the coolest app called Torque. For $5.
It goes on your phone or tablet and connects via bluetooth to a $13 mini obd code reader that stays on the port.
It will read all codes, give you an rpm gauge, along with all kinds of other stuff like 1/4 mile times, distance to empty, instant and avg mpg and a lot more.
I put mine on an old phone so it stays in the car all the time and connects when you start the car.
Amazing!
