Somebody missed welding class

I was also told to put the hot box at the front of the trailer, less bouncing.

it is pretty obvious, who the maker of the product is, you will see that same one with 10 different names on it but they are all manufactured by pressure pro. Not that it makes it bad, everyone gets something that was either made on Monday morning or Friday evening from time to time. It could have happened to any manufacturer

Really though, making it right is the most important thing,..as long as they fix their mistake. Unless they have a track record of poor workmanship it's not worth raggin' on the company. Stuff happens!!

From my experience and others I would have to say that pressure pro hot boxes are the most unreliable pieces of equipment out there.

Problem is it should have been right the day you picked it up not down the road with wasted time and effort on your part.

This is a huge point. We do KEC work and the machines out there are just not made to be easy to service in an enclosed environment. ( Put the engine and burner exhaust on the same side) put all the fuel filler tubes on one side where you can get it. Put the sight glass on the pump where you can see it . If the oil drain is not convienent pplumb it with 1/4" pipre to an easy drain access.
Just simple things like think a product thrugh for the end user.
All machines with the exception of VHP units and other extreme specailty rigs are cook cutter off the shelf units.
