Is that with recovery Ron? or did they give up on that?

That is great Ron.

I talked to the new Manager at the local Sam's club and he tried to bring up the new policy of reclaim and haul away the waste water and I explained to him about the dry wells and he was going to check into it and mention the dry wells.

I went to talk to him the other day and he told me that they can't do any cleaning without the company doing total reclaim and haul away the waste water as that is what their policy states.

This is just for the concrete at the building and gum, no oil, no fuel pumps, etc...

I have done that location a couple times in the past with the other manager but this new guy does not want to do anything wrong which I can understand.

What would you do in this situation?

Chris go past him to corporate or the district manager and see what they have to say you might luck out and pick up a couple more. I quit doing walmarts a couple years ago because they were such a pain. but im thinking maybe i might try to pick up a few this year.

The new contract is for 2009 july,

I will be in N.Y. at my granddaughters babtism...I will not be able to make this one. Kory will have to fill me in..

I have tried Wal-Marts in my area, I gave them a price and they said we will let you know. I am talking concrete Riddled with gum it was not even worth our time. I saw a contractor there they hired and he was using cold water and turbo-tipping gum lol he said they gave him all the wal-marts in my area for 200 a pop. I was like sweet, you are rolling in the money. I did tell him before I left if he needed to borrow my hot water machine he could for a price. Wal-marts are so clueless, I pray to god, Ron you can educate Them but I have my doubts. Its all about money with Wal-mart. Sam Walton would rollover in his grave if he knew.

This account is on the Grocery store side, and its great money. Thats top dollar....

the budget calls for another 11 g's interior...

this gets done nationwide, you have to figure this out.

Ron is this weekly service for all Super WM's nationwide? Ive got one that no one is doing but I thought it was practicaly impossible to get through the corp crap to do it but if its 200 per week that would be sweet. Do know that that is the budget nationaly? PM me if you would rather. Thanks.

Call ext 185 and talk to the women and ask her for and invite.

No its not super centers, grocery stores

Yes 800 per month is SWEET if they contract you to maintain. A one time cleaning, removing all that gum and 4 hours worth of work at 2:00 a.m. is not worth it for $200 a pop . That is what I am saying. Wal-mart needs to man-up. We aren't illegals cleaning the front of the store.

We have done the high traffic areas of the front of a couple Wal-Mart’s for many years.

The corporate contracts office added a layer of insurance requirements that so far none of our other customers have requested. In addition to our 2 million dollar general liability coverage they are requiring 2 million dollar umbrella policy and another 2 million environmental coverage! This insurance requirement amounts to over 50% of the gross revenue this account generated!

And they required full water pick up/haul off and must not use any detergent!

We are not doing Wal-Mart currently; they stopped our application for a vendor number when I question the insurance and no detergent requirements!

That exactly what happened to us a few years back.
