Sodium Metasilicate question

I know sometimes sodium metasilicate is called TSP substitute but when I look at the contents of TSP substitute it is only listed as the last ingredient. I was wondering can it be used as a housewash mix with sodium hypochlorite as the detergent or surfactant? I've a source to buy in bulk pretty cheap. Will it etch paint like TSP is my concern and also how about on windows?

Well painters use it to de gloss paint.

Sodium Metasilicate is rough on windows.
It cured me from playing back yard chemist when it comes to house wash mixes. Now I just buy Simple Cherry and figure it into the cost of the job.
