soaping problem

I have a portable troybilt 2500 psi washer that came with 25 ft. of pressure hose. yesterday i bought another 25 ft. of hose to extend my length to 50 ft. Anyway the soap dispenser works with one hose but not both. I assume its too much length to properly siphon the detergent. Is there any way around this or possible a hand held sprayer that will cover a large area quickly.
 
I checked all the screens and it doesnt seem to have an on/off valve for the siphoning
 
Yea russ im using the black tip im new at this kind of work but i have washed a dozen houses this season what i dont understand is why it will work with one 25 ft. hose but not two of them linked togther.
 
Hey, Brian. I see these machines all the time. If you want extension hose, you must buy 3/8". 2 of the 1/4" hoses hooked together creates too much back pressure on the injector, so it won't draw. Hook a 3/8" to the machine first and use your 1/4" at the gun, and it'll work just fine.
