so Lou, dont hold back tell us how you really are doing!:crazy_pilot:Yea, but very little due to my bad knee + cold weather. Shooting to open operation in Ogden in March.
I made my presence known and have list of clients ready to roll with me.
My goal is to be a snowbird.
I'm having to wear my leg brace more often and it's taking me almost an hour to get going out of bed sometimes now. I'm also carrying my cane in the truck full time now. Trust me not complaining, heck I didn't walk for 5 years and the doctors said I never would again....HA I showed them!
How have you been? How's the baby?

I feel your pain, I have had back surgery and it was nothing like shoulder surgery. The recovery is very long and painfull. And I have the left one to look forward to. I beleive Knee surgery is very similar in recovery time. They told me between 12 weeks and and 6 months before your 100% again.
Seven surgeries on my left knee... Two on my left shoulder... and a heart cath.
Shoulder got an infection and I went from not needing a sling after surgery to being in a "pillow sling" for six weeks. Could not even take it off to shower.
After that I learned not to have surgery unless it is to a point where you just can't function. I was scheduled to have my right shoulder done 6 weeks after my left shoulder. After the infection, I would not do it. It did not hurt THAT bad. I strengthed the right shoulder and it has not bothered me since (three years).
On the other hand... If you let things go too long, they can cause other problems. Just make sure you weigh it all out. The risk of infection is real. It ate my Deltoid muscle away in a matter of hours! Scary stuff.
