So Sad

WOW, that really makes you think about things. Stories like that make me even more grateful for the things that we have. Thanks for posting that David. :thumbup2:

Why am I supposed to feel "sad" for them? They are squatting illegally, stealing food, and then take money from the slots that is not theirs.

"Helping the homeless is never a quick fix. Many have deep-seated psychological problems, some with drug and alcohol dependencies. In Las Vegas, another proportion suffers from gambling addictions."

These people need help, not sympathy.

Am I supposed to feel sad for the crystal-meth addict, Eric, too?

There have been people living that way in the NY and Chicago Subway systems for years. This is nothing new, so when you thing you have hit rock bottom, cheer up there is a deeper subterrainean low that you can achive if you just work hard at being sewer scum.

These people dont want your help, thats why they live below ground so they dont have to deal with reality. They rise at night only to prey on the human nature of people who actually walk amongst us.
