People depressed and wanting to take others with them?

These boys splitting community on the rape deal, are the innocent of a sexual teen encounter?

Can two teenage boys conspire to do such a tragic thing? Wouldn't you think that one of them would have cracked for a lesser charge?

I know that the boys in Ohio have a defense attorney that is claiming that it wasnt rape because 'the girl didnt affirmatively say no."

They claim she was cognizant enough to follow the boys from party to party, so she should have been cognizant enough to say no. They claim this even though there is picture evidence of the boys carrying her by the hands and feet out of one party. They claim this even though housefuls of people called her 'the dead girl" because she wasnt moving.a

the biggest problem I have with this, as the parent of a almost teenage girl, is that it means that consent is assumed. "It's okay to sleep with her until she says no" Even if she's passed out and isnt talking.

The problem with those boys 'cracking' is that they truly believe what they did wasn't wrong. They were just having fun. No harm done. I wonder how those boys would feel if they were ever violated when they were passed out.
