Can anyone recommend a shipping company that I can use to ship Eli's rig.

ITs coming from Mesa Arizona(85213) and needs to be shipped to Long Island NY(11754)
The dimensions are aprox Length 171"xWidth 70"xheight 48" at aprox 1600lbs.

Any guesses on how much to ship?

Thanks

I'll ship it for you for free.

I'll pick it up in Arizona, drive it here to Pennsylvania, and deliver it to you in Long Island in November 2006, with bald tires and 3000 hours on the washer.

Deal?

Deal?? When I'm Dead in Denver. Nice try Mike even though your offer was more generous then I thought it would be such as you'll pick it up ......and I'll never see it ever. LOL

I have a feeling I am going to have to go get it.

thebigjr,
Thanks for the info I'll look into them.

Ask Bigboy..........he goes to those trucking boards..........some trucker that's got some extra room could haul it for you.

My trailer was shipped on a flatbed rig...........we borrowed the loading ramp of a local heavy equipment dealer.........I backed my truck up onto the rig.........hitched up, and drove it right off the guy's trailer.

John I told you I would gladly pick it up, only about 6-8 hours from me and take good care of it here. Less wear and tear then if Mike got it for you.

Besides I can visit Scott and Ron again.

Another idea here, perhaps someone half way there might be willing to get it and you meet back at that persons home.

Saves driving all the way out West.

Now if you do have a long haul trucker bring it to you ask them to cover it while in transit, protects it from the elements and from eyes that might steal things.

Hey, That's my neighborhood, I'm in the same ZIP. I need a road trip. I will haul it out to you for $1.25 a mile.

I am betting that it will cost in the neighborhood of $1200 to have it brought out to you, if you are lucky. As for covering it, good luck, and honestly most truck drivers will not take care of it like it was their own.

Good point, my trailer was covered with a large tarp.............the tarp was stapled to the floor of the trailer (its wood).
