After the events of recent weeks I have been questioning why I remain on staff here at PWI.
I have had my integrity and ethics attacked by someone in the industry I used to have a lot of respect for.I stood my ground because I had done no wrong.To that person I do thank you for the apology.
I remained professional while a close friend was banned from this site by the same "industry leader" while one of the most malicious, venomous, malcontent posters on any industry related BBS's has been given chance after chance and was allowed back again just yesterday.
I've had my business threatened in the form of phone calls to local networking groups we are members of and for WHAT? Because I'm a fiercely loyal friend and a straight shooter.I have said it time and again that I would rather be hated for being honest,than loved for being a liar.How many can say the same?
There has been a HUGE injustice done to PWI and it's staff by allowing a certain malcontent back on the site despite repeated warnings and 2 different bans.
There have been repeated requests from the site owner for staff to resign their positions if they can't support PWI.Since I can not support the decision to allow public enemy number 1 back on PWI.
I ask effective tonight that my moderator status be changed back to member status.
I wish the new admin and staff the best of luck in controlling the choas.

Holy crap, What is going on here... thats 3 this week and maybe a 4th soon.

I hope everyone can find common ground soon.

Ive learned if im quick to think and slow to act things work out better.

Good luck to you bro, I hope you will still stick around.

Sorry you feel that way Scott, it been a good Run. But as the president says its time for a change.

I appreciate you being on Staff in the past and if you decide to reconsider in the future your welcome anytime.

I'm sure many more before the weekend, Russ ran the BBS and its his Staff. Russ staff and supporters will go elsewhere, it a shame but sometimes changes are needed.

John, there is good reason why you are seeing the exodus. I suspect that someone will man up and the truth will be told soon.

Don't look negatively upon those that have quit, they are all stand up men and contractors of sound ethics.
 
Russ did a great job as the admin.

Being the admin is not all that its cracked up to be. Quite often people, including people you call friends, put you, or get you put in a position were a decision needs to be made and you are the heavy. Every decision has at least two possible outcomes and each decision has those that support it. Someone will be unhappy with almost every decision. It is not easy, even with the great pay and bonus/perk package that Ron provides.
I was the Admin before Russ, and I spent about two years trying to make everyone happy. It was a relief when Russ took over. The burnout that the position can create will take a toll on your personal life, your business life and will also affect some of the friendships created by this board.

Lets stop all the speculation and second guessing and THANK RUSS for a job well done!

In the meantime Scott Stone is the new administrator, and he deserves the full support of all the members of this board. I support him and will be doing everything I can to help him continue to grow this board bigger and better.

Once again I've proven to be ahead of my time. I stepped down well over a week ago. You guys are all just followers!! :D Copycats! :rolleyes: You just couldn't stand all the extra tsiemxe I got to spend with my loving wife without the distractions of this board! :p Well, enjoy it while you can. Life's too short.

Mat, By all means im not being rude, I have the highest respect for everyone at this board. I just wish we as members knew what was really going on.. These are all smart grown ass men, and they will make the decisions that best serve them, I have respect for that.

Exactly Grant.

Using the knowledge inside this board I've been able to establish and grow my company. This board has made me $$$$$$$$. Chaching!!

I can careless about the drama going on; it's politics and we will always have to deal with it.

The PWI leader has resigned. A new leader will soon be in place. Some are supporters some or not. It will soon stir things up no matter who it is. We will never all agree.

Exactly, I really could care less about how it is ran, As long as the information that has been shared continues to be shared everyone here can learn and grow.

As Dad told me long time ago, "Son, don't matter what people think about you, just as long as they're thinking about you. Tell the truth, speak your mind, and your true friends will always be by your side".

Since its been decades since I was a teenager that thought he knew everything, I'm old enough to know my Dad was right, 99% of the time, and has provided the best, unbiased advice throughout my life.

I'm a moderator on a unrelated site, and am an administrator on yet another site. Learned long time ago the job is without rewards, but the fellowship of the peer groups in invaluable.

I will continue to enjoy the fellowship of professionals here, as well as other sites. Hoping someday I have as much to share as I have learned from you all.

I wish it was only that. It may be for some, but not all.

Its the internet, crazy thing it is. You got to think, there's about 25,000 companies that pressure wash in this country and about 250 contractors that post regularly post on these BB's. This place goes wacko, people get lied to, talked about or hurt feelings. This place or any of the BB's arent the real world, its just a place for people to come to for a while and then eventually leave after it gets to ridiculous.
