Seven Dist called me!!!

Ron Musgraves

Exterior Restoration Specialist
Staff member
They Asked me if they could annouce the U-amcc here in the dist section.

We will take off the UAMCC block Monday.

No Uamcc promotion will be allowed not by my hand but the entire membership of PWI & Staff members. The only Staff member that was agaist the non promotion was John T.

Anyway, because we do not want to harm the dist that have been so loyal to PWI an help make PWI a better place. We will only allow promotion from dist about there attendance at the convention.

Please make sure the content is about your distributorship and not about the U-amcc.

These are the current staff and admins wishes at this time.

Nothing is being done to resolve this, attempts have been made by John T. on PWI behalf. Thanks John

There was an email sent to Carlos. If you look, there is a post in the faculty lounge about this, and what was sent to Carlos.
Discussion of events and organizations is fine. If a question is asked, they are more than welcome to answer any questions that are asked of the organization. They just are not allowed to promote any events, or anything to do with the events. They have tried to come up with a couple of ways to circumvent the rules, but I am standing firm on this.

For what it is worth, I forced this on Ron. He did not want it, but I posted it and the other moderators are supportive of what I decided. Well, except for John.

As a long standing member of PWNA I appreciate this move. Two opposing memberships fracture our industry instead of making it stronger. Sounds to me like someone else wants to divide a weak organization and take a piece of the pie.

I don't know about that. I don't think UAMCC is trying to "steal" members from PWNA or anything and I think the industry could have a few orgs for different aspects of the industry. I think it's funny that UAMCC was created mostly by people that were ticked off at PWNA for some stuff they did but the real kicker is, now they are doing the same thing that PWNA did that ticked them off in the first place. I wouldn't be suprised if their BBS was closed down to members and BOD members were told not to post.

I think UAMCC and PWNA have both made some mistakes but I think both can recover. I'm not wishing either org ill will but it wouldn't faze me if either or both of them closed down either. I learned a lot when I was on PWNA's BOD and met a lot of great people but most of all, I learned you can never please everyone. And, no matter what you do your going to have someone taking pot shots at you while your busting your hump for free, and putting your family and business on the back burner to do it!

Live and Let Live.

The one thing I'd like to see is both orgs actually attracting traffic to their sites so visitors can hire members for their pressure washing needs. I have no idea what those two sites get but I don't have any reservations in saying my pressure washing company directory probably refers out more work than both of them together, and it's free.

Maybe I should get discounted car rentals and stuff too as additional benefits?
