every now and then, questions about Koi and other pets. Call your vet, if you have a pet and ask them about the fish, birds etc.. This was my first roof and I was scared about the Koi, so after calls to the detergent makers and studding on the web I called my vet, who gave me the # to another, and after explaining my trade to him and earning his respect for helping the fish he told me what and what not to use. So now if I have birds in the trees around the house I can tell the customer that I have checked with my vet and no harm will come to them or the fish and so. Great selling point.

Guess I better demo my stuff first

Well i can tell you first hand sh will kill them just a tiny bit. This man had a small one right near his house an this was regular house wash mix.I ask him to cover it or take them out he said awe dont worry about it they will be fine negatory one died before i left.

Fish are very sensitive to the house wash mix, don't ask me how I know.

I have known guys that barely got any mix in the water and fish were floating, most were coi.

They (coi) are also sensitive to silty/muddy water filled with mold and fungus that has been surfaced cleaned off of a patio and ran through a make shift containment boom that had no chemicals in it but was able to fill the little pond with a tired and clogged filter enough to make the water jist slightly dirty looking. I dont take any chances around peoples pets...anymore.
