Say hello to my little friend

he looks pretty good. We were cleaning an exhaust system last December. one of the drains in the grease tray kept plugging up. My helper kept poking his finger into the hole, that would clear the drain, then it would plug up again. No large chunks of grease would come out when he poked the debris, just water. He finally reached into the tray and pulled out a dead rat. Just about grossed out the lady in charge of the kitchen.

Another time we were putting in a new fire system in a kitchen. I told my peple that who ever found the most cockroaches, would get a free dinner. Live roaches only, dead ones did not count. Two of us tied at 2 bugs each. And yes, it was a Chinese resturant.

how do you guys

ever go out to eat?
You guys could write a book on the best restraunts and it would have nothing to do with the taste of the food.
I know nothing about your type of washing but is there some kind of sealer/coating that can be used to keep grease from sticking so bad? prob. not because of the heat?
Why are chinese rest. so much worse then others?
Do i want to know? Is it just the oils they use?
 
I can't go in a Chinese place without getting queasy. As soon as I smell that peanut oil my stomach starts to turn. When I was a kid my dad use to stick me in these Chinese grease ducts with a scraper and a cardboard box. I got to come out when it was clean. Once you have that stuff all over your face and arms for hours at a time, the last thing you want to do is dig in to a bowl of sweet and sour pork.
