Here is an example of what can happen if you do not use proper safety when using scrapers inside a small space. This guy was in a short lateral on a roof scraping away when he nearly cut his finger off. I captured this horrific moment on my digital camera using video. The pictures attached are just him inside the duct so you can get an idea of how tight it was. The link will download the movie. I must warn you that movie contains a very graphic scene.
