Has anyone ever seen a roof that looks to be like a coblestone drive-way? How would you go about cleaning something like this, Its not walkable by any means but you may could repel off the top.

Looks to be slate, that would make for some great before & after pictures. Looks like you could get a lift around that building?

This is a prime example of a roof that with a house wash mix and a Pitch witch rinse can make an instant difference....Personally I don't see the "softwash" rinse working on aged slate like this.

Chris, get some close-up pics of the roof, don't know if it is my monitor but I can't see the texture or what it looks to be made of. hahahahaha

Hahaha! Let me, Nick, Kory, or Chris at it. Tile, Shingle, Slate etc... It doesn't matter. A non Pressure application WILL work on it. Boost up the % and the surfactant and spray. A couple of good rains to rinse and she'll look like new. :yeah:

where the roof starts is the third story, a 75 ft pitch witch may get to the top however I am more the mist and leave type of guy

And this is why I am done online.

Gks72,

Prior to meeting with Larry and seeing the softwash method of cleaning roofs first hand, I too was looking at rinsing with a pitch witch, water broom, etc...

I have seen the low pressure / softwash method first hand. Not only does it work very well, but it can be done at a fraction of the time & cost of manually rinsing using any method I have seen.

If your done with this, or other online pressure washing / roof cleaning forum's, because of this thread, it's only to your detriment.
