Roof Question

Residential and Commercial Pressure Washing Specia
I know you guys are probably sick of people asking about x-jetting roofs, but I have an idea. Tell me if this is possible.

What if you used your x-jet with no insert and also pulled chlorine from the downstream injector at the same time. Would it still pull from the injector? If so do you think this would strengthen the mix enough to work. I bought a pump from Pressure Tech, but I thought this might work. Tell me what you think.

Next time I'm in Bama I wanna go fishing.

I've got a new boat w/ only about 15 hours on it. 18 feet with a T-Top. Come on the Cobia are running. I'm heading to the beach in the morning for about 5-6 days

What are you doing next week? I will be headed to Florida from Atlanta.

The orfice is too small on an x-jet. Therefore I dont see how you could reduce the backflow enough to allow the d.s. injector to draw anything.

Ahhh! What Kasey said. Use the new pump and walk it. You'll never get the results that you and the customer are looking for with an x-jet or any other type of down streaming method.

Your ds wont work with the xjet. But the xjet will clean a roof. I have done it, with a 4 gpm. It has saved me a few times a certain roof pump seized on me a couple different times. You have to use a 4 gpm or less without any colored things in it, if you use any higher gpm it wont be enough suction. you have to use straight bleach with a little detergent in it.

Just wondering how you use an x-jet for roof cleaning. Is it done by dragging a bucket onto the roof, or long hose and shoot from the ladder or is it done from the ground? Seems like if done from the ground there would be a fog of over spray, but I really don't know.

The LESS the GPM of the washer -the better the X Jet works.
I know some who have purposely bought the smallest P/W they could find JUST to increase the X Jets draw rate.
