I live in Florida. Does have anyone out there have a secret recipe for wshing mold and black off of roofs. I use Shingle Bright now but is expensive to use.

Roofs

I use Xterior's house wash for the roofs I have recently cleaned up here in WV. It will kill but I have had to use pressure to get off the roof. You can call me if you have any questions.

Walter are you really using pressure washer on someone's roof you do know this voids the warranty and may cause tiny pin holes
in the roof that may lead to disaster and you could be held responsible if your contract is not worded perfectly, if you have one.

There are much cheaper and more effective methods that are safe for the roof and the enviroment. Just my .02 worth!

I am fairly new in the business in midwest Florida. I have been using housewash with bleach but have had to use some pressure. Have been trying to find a better way. Please Help.

Thank You
Mike / YMK

Bleach water with tide or dawn to make it stick should work fine. Just allow enough dwell time and use enough Bleach. We prefer to rinse with a soap fan nozzle. Very low pressure this way but still delivers plenty of water volume and the fan spray makes rinsing easier and more even than just a garden hose nozzle (which is all the pressure you should need on a roof)

Not much info there Ronniels

Mike if you still want some information send me your e-mail address in a personal message and I'll e-mail detailed process and mixture so you can actually clean a roof in less than half a day or so using the methods I have seen so far. My process curb to curb is always less than 2 hours for 2500sq ft roof.

I'm not sure how long some of these guys have been doing this but from their post it doesn't sound good I'm only 24 but I've been doing this since I was 12 half of my life who's opinion do you want?

If anybody wants to question the quality my work just take a look at my website I have many before and after photos, see for your self I know what I'm doing!
