We did this simple roof cleaning today. 3hrs complete. The customer was happy, paid us and everyone gained. Thank You.

Roofs in our area are a rare breed. There are only a few who actually do them. Cost usually comes to $100 hr. I applied Simple Cherry & 15% SH. Nothing else. I charged $340. for this one. Did it myself. The customer was very happy. We are growing the roof cleaning business and will do more this year. I didn't have any problems and it was easy which makes for a good day! LOl We all need them every so often. Thank You.

You know your local area better then me, but I have a good number of guys in parts of Ohio making way more per roof then I get here in Florida.
It is hard to judge by a picture, but that looks like a 4 unit duplex.
At 1000 sq ft per duplex, that is 4000 sq feet.
I would have charged 575.00 for that job, maybe a bit more, because it IS a write off for the property owner.

But you seem to know your local market, and charge accordingly.

Question:

I'm in the process of bidding a large roof cleaning job (150,000SQFT) that has a lot of Gleo Caspa on it, Most of the solutions I've used on Gleo won't completly remove it without getting up on the roof to "rinse" it with some pressure. Usually we end up using about 100PSI to clean off everything after our chem application. I haven't tried the full strength Apple Sauce recipe yet, will it completly kill off and remove gleo without any pressure rinsing??
 
I use the apple cider recipe for all my roof cleaning. I apply the mix to the entire roof. If any spots are still noticable, I will spray those again. No rinsing necessary. Mother nature washes it clean the next time it rains.
