Roof Cleaning Wand

Mark 8262

Residential and Commercial Pressure Washing Specia
If someone has a real close up picture of their home made roof cleaning wands could you please post your photo. I finally ordered my pump from Bob and would like to build a wand.

thanks for your help

Here is a picture of mine. This one is stainless. I also use an aluminum one which is much lighter. The stainless lasts much longer but all depending on how much Roof Cleaning you do an aluminum wand will last a while. Been using mine now for at least 6 months and no pin hole leaks yet.

I use a 1/2 in ball valve with a qc so I can take the wand off. This also helps when I need a longer reach. I can put any size lance on it to spray. The end of my chem wand/lance is also bent at a 45deg angle so that the spray pattern is aimed downward. A qc at the end of the wand lets me change out tips very quickly on any job. I can go from any size spray fan pattern to a 0020, 0030 or a 0040 within seconds if needed. I call this sprayer The Larry Liquid Love Wand! Hahaha! Hope this

That is kind of like the Bandit wand, it is about 3' long and is great.

You don't want too long of a wand in case you have some close work to do. I am sure that wand will work out good.

I did a roof the other day. It had rain before, during and after I did the roof. I almost called it off. Took about 20min to see it getting clean. She (customer) was very happy and told me the next day her husband just stood out at the street and stared. It was all black, thank guys for all the help you have been. From machines to roofs to PM.

Looks good.

I just did a roof that same color last Monday.

It is cool how they go from black to like-new in minutes.

Scott,The tanks I use are 50gal and a 125gal. Been thinking about replacing one of them with a bigger tank, maybe 275 or 300gal but I have to watch the weight on my trailer. If I've got a real big Roof Cleaning job sometimes I will add 1or 2 55gal drums that I have.

Wow, Never thought I'de here myself saying this about another mans wand but damn, thats a long one. Hahaha! I've never used a PVC wand. Always a stainless steel or aluminum. I'm sure the PVC works just as well. Most every Roof cleaning we do we walk the Roof. If it's unwalkable I have no problems shooting them from the Roof line. I just don't like doing it that way cause it always seems to use up more mix than is needed.

Shooting from the Roof Line will waste a lot more chemical, sometimes 2X the amount as if you walked it. I know all about that, been there, done that.

Walking is the best way and will use a lot less chemicals.
