Roof Cleaning set up in Lexington KY

We downsized our roof cleaning rig to fit on a 3x4 poly pallet to slide in and out of a truck bed. This is a nice compact size. 65 gallon tank, 200 ft 1/2 inch plyovic hose and 6.5 hp Honda powering the Udor Zeta pump.

Very nice. How long have you used the Udor? How do you like it?

This will be the third season. I like it. Reach high peaks easily. It is easy to dial in to lower the flow and very workable. Haven't rinsed it yet!

Very nice Michael! Do you ever have an issue with not having enough chems for a job? Or having 2 in a day and not having enough?

Scott, I just did this downsize. We were using a 125 gallon tank. I will just carry extra 12% for multiple roofs.

Cool thats what I was wondering. We carry 110gl of fresh SH just about all the time. 55 in the chem tank and 55 in a blue drum attached to a transfer pump just in case. Once we add another truck, I think we will end up doing something similar to yours and that truck will only be for 1 or 2 roofs. I like how simple it is.

Nice set up. I have somthing similar planned for my truck. But what do you guys think about the SH eating away at the truck bed?

Mike how many roofs do you have on that bad boy???

Not sure, I'd have to look at my quickbooks. Probably 150 maybe. Roof cleaning still isn't popular up here.

Nice set up!
Hey to you roof guys. Wodering how much mix do you use on an average lets say 2,000 sq. ft house. No market for it here but just wondering!

35-40 gallons

LOL sold on the Gas powered pump.

This is how we threw chems in my old fleetwashing days, the Udor will last years with no repair or rebuild also.

Nice set up Mike, will we get to see this in action in KY?

Yes. Ron, I have had this a few seasons now.

Thanks for posting that Mike.....I like it. I had a Bandit which was not great. Moved to Fatboys...still working out kinks. Thinking about the Air Diaphram pump and compressor....

Roofs would be so much easier if we were not constantly fighting equipment.

Mike V you are right all the little issue are a pain in the ass

Just curious, is there a need for ladders anymore? If so, where are you keeping it?

On the trailer. We only made this to slide in the truck because we ran out of room on the trailer because of a recovery Vacuum added.
