Roof cleaning on TV

This is our biggest "competitor" here in Houston. This is the type of free advertising that really gets our roof cleaning message out there. I think he did a great job explaining the reasons why it should be done, and I've written him with compliments. I have seen some segments on TV with hillbilly jack in his coveralls blasting peoples home before, so I was glad to see that the first roof cleaning segment I saw was someone who is skilled at it, and very proffesional. This will not only blow his phone up, but will trickle down to the rest of us.

That was a great way to open some eyes about roof cleaning. I did notice he's got a bit of the love cough going on...:D

The first thing I noticed was him clearing his throat. Probably due to his throat closing up. You were right Larry. You really need to protect yourself if you are up there breathing those chems. There are alot of guys who don't. It will show in a few years. I know some guys that have breathing issues from not protecting themselves and wearing a respirator.

I just happen to be one of those idiots who's got a resporator and half the time I'm in to much of a hurry and forget to put it on. I never had breathing issues until I started this biz. Now I'm on 4 different kinds of meds for breathing. I need to start wearing it more....Ya think?

Sodium Hydroxide based system :D
DRAINO - I would have a field day with that :D

Hey Chris, how exactly do you explain why the chems he uses are bad? I know he uses Renew from Ace cleaning. They claim to be enviro friendly, safe for plants, and animals, blah blah blah.

The pitch witch is an all day job. You saw how long it took even sped up. They were moving the roof ladder back and forth and they're poles are like 30 ft long to reach the tops and bottms. I still cant figure out how they clean the reeal steep roofs.
