ron if i were to use pool chlorine to kill the black mold on a roof. lets say i used a x-jet[i got from you] to apply it at say 50/50. Spray it on so there is little run off to gutters. I add a cup of dawn to make it stick. let it dwell for say 30 min [sunny day] then shoot a solution of sodium bisulfite on and rinse. Will the run off be nuet. and be plant and grass safe?
where can i get sodium bisulfite in a powder?
thank you for your time rottie72@aol.com pro-wash

You can get sodium bisulfite at a pool supply store. Try the ones that deal with pool contractors and not just the general public. Ask for d-chlor thats the brand name that I get. What I do is put a couple scoops in my water tank and have a helper spray the plants and any runoff. I also put some in buckets and put the buckets on the down spouts. I think you would be better off using a shurflo pump to apply your solution, mix about 60/40 and mist on roof sometimes you dont need to rinse.
