Replacement Motor for Honda GX340

I do not wish to debate the chinese versions vs the real thing here..... That being said, one of my machines is making a knocking noise and I think that the motor is just about to kick the bucket. It is a Honda GX340 11hp pull start. I located a 13hp Kohler motor part #cs12t-941520 to replace it, and for a good price. Anyone know of issues with the 13hp kohler?? They both have a 1" shaft. The machine that it is going on is a 4gpm 3000 psi gear drive unit...spare. Thanks, Mike.
 
For the price that I found the Kohler, it will be hard to pass up to have a workable spare machine. That being said. I am still throwing around getting another machine that is larger with higher gpm. I am not sure if I am just being too cheap to pull the plug with the season shortly coming to a close in my area.

Kohler's across the board are an incredible engine they are truly and industrial engine. They are also one of the few that give you 'true' horsepower ratings. I have run them all and have made the Kohler my personal engine of choice. Not sure what you got for a price but give us a look and see, we will also beat any legitimate offer by 5% if you find it for less with our price match plus guarantee.
 
Turns out the metal to metal knocking was the broken cat pump that I was running. I pulled it apart today to diagnose the problem and found that one of the three rods on the shaft broke into three pieces. Hooray...I don't need a new motor after all, I just need a new pump or to rebuild the broken one...its a CAT pump #5DX40G1....
Anyone got a used 4gpm 3000psi ready to go pump for cheap?? Or a rebuild kit for the one I have??
