That's the job we've done today for the FAA, and the task was, remove birds poop from one the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta Radar and Tower.
The other one was a 6000sqft house done this week. Whole nine yards(House, Windows and flat-surface.

Looks more like a castle than a house! I like the bird doo doo job. That one looks like fun! Did you have to get any special type of clearance to do that job?

Yes. I did some research and found a product called poop off. A little expensive($37.00/gl) but works good + hot water. Turned out good. We'll be doing three of their towers/radar at least once a year.

WOW I needed this stuff last week it took me an hour or more to get it off an Awning I had to clean, I never thought I was going to get it off the Awning. I will read up on it more these were Canvas Awnings.

Did a job at the local airport last year. removed lots of pigion poop. the nastyest sh!t did that year. it was in a hanger. it was all over floor walls etc. wear a resperator that stuff is full of sh!t:D that can kill you. nice job that house looks like a hotel.

We've tried to be very particular on what to use because they were really specific on what kind of chemicals we would use(MSDS sheets and etc..) also to not use to much pressure on that bunch of cables connectors. We've played by ear on this product for being the first time, luckily tuned out good and we've got the other two towers as well.

How much do you think the 'poop off' (its funny every time) did to the guano as far as making it easier to clean, and is it made to disinfect?

When I cleaned a brand-new Radar Tower here back in December 2007, I explained my methods and what I would be using, they were good with that, they were the builders and tech guys getting ready to hand it over to the Government.

You are right, you can't use much pressure on the cables or equipment because it is very sensitive and cost in the millions or tens of millions of dollars.

The birds were roosting on this tower as it was being built and had a lot of crap all over it. I had to clean the outside frame and the inside frame, platforms, stairs, handrails, etc....everything from the top to the bottom and the concrete, the computer building, shed, generator, diesel tank, etc... they wanted it all cleaned.

It was a great job, wish I could do one every week, no problem.
