Hello Folks

This is Mechatronic Products. We just wanted to remind people or introduce you folks to our RWC line of remote control units for hot and cold water pressure washing systems. They allow you to remotely change from water to chemical, start or stop. Fully programmable but easy to do. I know because I made the video programming video myself and it is easy. These units let you work faster (if you want to), reduce the amount of walking back to the truck or wall unit, and may even let you make more money by doing more jobs in the same amount of time.
Drop by our website and take a look or drop an email.

Thanks for your time.

yes, but...

how much is that doggy in the window?

I agree with squirtgun, Way too much if in that range. I have a gentleman working on a really in-expensive remote for our rigs. He is a friend of mine and an electrical engineer. I will keep you all informed and I should know something this weekend.

I started washing houses a few years ago, and at that time I chose to go with the x-jet. The x-jet does a great job, but mixing 3-5 5gallon containers up for each job and lugging those around was really getting old. I spoke with a friend who also washes a lot of houses and he said he downstreams his chemicals. I said "but how do you get up to the second and thrid stories or chimney tops? My soap tip will not spray that far." Then he informed me that there are zero degree tips that will shoot as high as the x-jet. So I got my new tip and started downstreaming for the first time. This was going to be great. Just put the hose in the chemical tank, put my soap tip on, soap the house, switch tips and rinse! This theory failed quickly. I guess it would work if you were always rinsing at high pressure, but as soon as I turn the knob on the dual lance to rinse a plant or to rinse close up on the lower parts of the house, guess what?... Soap comes out! uggg!
So now instead of lugging those stupid jugs around, I am now walking back and forth to the machine all day turning the chemical injector on and off so I can rinse with out soap coming out. This is when I realized I needed a remote control to do this.

I think I've got the bugs worked out now. I just put on my long range antenna yesterday and it works even from behind the house, and will work in a direct line of site for over 500 feet. Now I can control a solenoid valve to turn downstreaming on and off, turn hot water on and off, and turn the engine on and off. I can also use my M-5 nozzle to do all the soaping and rinsing with out ever changing tips. I lower the pressure on my dual lance to start drawing soap, then adjust the tip of the m-5 if I want to spray the soap higher, and if I really need an extra boost on the height, I can turn up the pressure on the dual lance which will blast the soap in my hose as high as needed for about 20-30 seconds, then reduce the pressure to start drawing chemical again. When it is time to rinse, I just push a button on my remote, and the chemical stops whether I use high pressure or low! Plus I can also turn the hot water on and off or the engine on and off. My only worry is that the solenoid valve may not last that long, I guess time will tell. I bought a spare and can switch it out very easily, and they do have a one year warranty.
