Reclaiming equipment

What kind of reclaiming machine are you using that needs calibration?
Mine, if it picks up the water its good. I do have a meter that can check the "lift" if need be.

I think Ron is referring to water quality control checks on the discharge side. Ph testing would take care of that, but is a bit extreme in many cases, unless your treatment plant requires it.

The water is clean or it is not. PH is the most important factor. 7 is neutral and perfect for discharge. I am at School right now at C-Tech learning all about Reclaim Systems. I will be able to answer all of your questions this weekend.

Are you learning about the water Maze?

Maybe I'l wait till your done with class.

Thanks John

Doug, if your state or county actually had a good program they would require testing for calibration to see if the solids were being collected at the correct rate.

What good would a machine be if it didnt work.

You can get the water analized two ways with a waste water sample:
1) Send it to a big Lab for analisis Pay about $350
2) Take it to a pool supply and pay about $40

Depends on your location They gave no tolerances. This was a class on Maintaining and Repairing the Equipment. Not at all what i expected. Some hands on and a breif discription on how the systems work.

You would think if it running correct they would have a standard that needs to be met.

Just PH values and water Quality. Most Sewer Discharge wants Low Metal content and no solids going down the drain.
Check out the Watermaze website there is no mention of Compliance tolerances. http://www.wmaze.com

I looked on the Dealer Website and found nothing.

Yes it depends on the system. What system do you have?
Here is an example from a Water Maze CLP7023.
This is from the Bid Specs

How clean is the units when discharged?

That all depends on what is in your water to begin with. Most recycle units are only basic filtration and they have their limits for both intake and discharge. Use soap, and the whole thing is out of whack due to emulsification.

Your questions are to broad Ron, you need to ask specifics to get the answer you are lookng for, or else you will never get it.

Each machine has a calibration standard. Wiz found what I was looking for, I wanted each of you who own reclaimation units that real Laws come with calibration and certification standards.

All units under law will need to meet minimum requirements.

If you have no required calibration then you could use a canister vac.

You told me to dig deeper. But what machine do you have?

Well you say you have a watermaze, which one?
