I have accounts that I am required to recover water at. I currently use a vacu boom for my recovery efforts. This does not work well. The problem that I run into is that the sewer the water runs into is at the front of the yard in the middle of the gate. It is impossible for the drivers not to run over every time they go into or out of the gate. If I set the booms up around the drain, they will not be in one piece for an hour. I have also used a mat to cover the drain. As the trucks run over the mat it gets dragged around the yard, so I still lose the water. I have been moving the unit around the yard with me as I go, keeping it close to the parked trailers. This is difficult and very time consuming. There has to be an easier way. I will get the measurements of the drain on Wednesday and I will look into the drain to see what is down there (drain hole or what not and the size.)
