Real estate work

Got a question for the board. I've just recieved my license in florida and am thinking about a direction to take my company.

I went ahead and took the wolman certification tests and have recieved there certificate. I was considering using both the pressure cleaning and wood deck/fence restoration to create some form of real estate pre-sales package. The general idea is to provide full exterior cleaning services to people planning on selling there homes and giving realtors some form of kickback for the referral.

Does anyone else on the board provide a similar service, and if so would you happen to have any helpfull hints for a guy starting from scratch. I'm hoping to be able to add things to these packages such as trash/brush remocal, landscaping, etc.. but I have a feeling I may need to get another occupational license from the county before hand.

Thanks,
Robb

my opinion

you should target when advetising. in this case target people that are thinking of putting there house on the market. Realestate brokers wont help you.
whatever your getting the most calls on or whetever you plan on cleaning set up an ad for each type.
If i want to wash houses i advertise on the day when houses are the big part of the newspaper.
Also decks,flatwork,ect...
if looking for commerical work cold calls with a picture book works best.[the hardest part is finding the REAL PERSON who say's yes or no.]
realestate people right now are making money hand over fist. They dont want to deal with you. trust me you have to hook the homeowner not the salesman i am going to do doorhangers on every house that has a for sale sign on it. rainy day work is what i call it. good luck
